Calling all installers! You’re in for a treat!

Stroma Certification are very excited to announce Installer Week! This online event, taking place 14th – 18th September 2015, is dedicated entirely to installers working across the industry’s major trades. We’ll be discussing everything installer throughout the week, aiding you with the relevant certification, skills and knowledge for a successful business.

Rory Bremner, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Simon Pegg, Julie Walters, Dick van Dyke and Eddie Izzard – it’s not the cast of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. In fact, it was the National Green Deal & ECO Awards 2015.

As 2015 rumbles on and we hurtle into the traditionally busy period of the year, I have had time to pause and look back at the successful launch of RdSAP 9.92 and what we have learned from it.

The beach stand is back in its box for another year as Ecobuild drew to a close last Thursday evening. I was at the show on Wednesday and it was great to see so many people engaging with us for the free CPD sessions, software demonstrations and of course for our free refreshments. The stand was buzzing on all three days and played host to many hundreds of delegates from DEAs to GDPs to installers. Members and non-members were very welcome and the whole event was extremely positive.

Welcome blog readers,

Today you will have an insight into the wonderful world of the Stroma sales team and our preparations for tomorrow’s Ecobuild exhibition.

The last few years of helping my customers navigate compliance-heavy schemes such as the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) has helped me realise how important the understanding of who is doing what, when and how, has become. In many instances a lack of this understanding has led to, amongst other things, failed audits, missing data and delays in remuneration for works completed.

If you’ve been following our activities closely, you’ll already know about our recent software launches and updates. One of our biggest releases was our electrical certificate generation software – E-Cert.

At Stroma, we take your comments, opinions and feedback seriously – they’re what fuel our fire, so that we can create great software that provides you with easier and more efficient ways for you to carry out your work. Your opinions also allow us to address your issues and concerns and keep you updated on what matters to you the most.

Part of the goal for the blog is to ensure your voices are heard – and we’d love for you have a chance to provide your opinion by taking part in our short, on-minute online survey about what you want to see on the blog and what you hope for in 2015 from Stroma Certification.

We also welcome any comments you may have, so feel free to leave a reply at the bottom of this post and we’ll do our best to answer your questions.
